What’s the status of a woman’s siyum? Is it “legitimate” enough to allow eating meat during the 9 days?
And I guess can you discuss women’s siyumim in general in halacha, saying kaddish, etc…

Yes, a woman’s siyyum can count to allow attendees to eat meat during the nine days. Here is the ruling of Rav Shlomo Wahrman. (Hebrew quoted here.)

Rav Shlomo Wahrman, She'erit Yosef 2:4 "When a woman completes a tractate between Rosh Chodesh and Tish’a Be-Av and the members of her household or a group of women join in her celebration, it seems that all of them are permitted to eat meat and drink wine as at other mitzva feasts…"

As for Kaddish, we plan to write a detailed article in the future. For now, check out our posted q&a here.

If planning a public event, it is best to consult a local halachic authority on these issues.
