I grew up charedi, however I now live in a community in Israel where many married women wear short sleeves and leave their hair out in the back. I want to know if this is okay halachically and what I need to be aware of while doing this. Or is this against halacha?

Shalom! There is a range of halachic views on sleeve length and on how to cover one’s hair, and this is reflected by the range of communal practice. What is treated as basic Halacha in one community may be considered a stringency in another. When changing communities or practice, this can be confusing to navigate. It is important to find a halachic address within one's new community to help address this type of question, and it can be helpful for a married woman to talk these matters out with her husband.
